Terms of Service, Legal Indemnification, and Risk Disclosure

Sanzra ("the Platform," "we," "us") is a technology platform that facilitates cooperative savings groups commonly known as Sou-Sou, Susu, Pardner, Box Hand, Min, Meeting, or similar rotating savings and credit associations (ROSCAs). Sanzra IS NOT A BANK. It is not a deposit-taking institution. Funds facilitated through this platform are not insured by any government deposit guarantee scheme, central bank, or federal deposit insurance corporation unless explicitly stated in your specific jurisdiction. By accessing this platform, you acknowledge and accept these fundamental limitations unconditionally.
USE OF THIS PLATFORM IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED FOR PERSONS UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE IN ALL JURISDICTIONS. This restriction applies regardless of the legal age of majority in your country or region. By proceeding, you represent, warrant, and confirm that you are at least 21 years of age. Misrepresentation of age constitutes fraud and may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of funds, and legal action.
Participation in cooperative savings groups facilitated by this platform carries inherent financial risks, including but not limited to: (a) Member default risk: Other members of your savings group may fail to contribute their agreed amounts. (b) Fraud risk: Despite verification measures, malicious actors may misrepresent their identity. (c) Platform risk: Technical failures, cyberattacks, data breaches, or platform discontinuation could affect access to your account or funds. (d) Regulatory risk: Laws and regulations governing cooperative savings may change. (e) Currency risk: For cross-border transactions, foreign exchange fluctuations may affect value. (f) Liquidity risk: Funds committed to a savings cycle may not be immediately accessible until your scheduled Hand date. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND ACCEPT ALL RISKS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND, AND HOLD HARMLESS Sanzra, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, service providers, and successors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) Your use of or access to the Platform; (b) Your violation of these Terms; (c) Your violation of any rights of another person or entity; (d) Your violation of any applicable laws, rules, or regulations; (e) Any transaction, contribution, or payout dispute involving your account; (f) Any unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain account security. This indemnification obligation will survive termination of your account and these Terms.
IN NO EVENT SHALL Sanzra BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, SAVINGS, OR DATA, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Sanzra in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You consent to Sanzra collecting, processing, and verifying your personal information for the purposes of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, and sanctions screening. You acknowledge that your account and transactions may be monitored for suspicious activity, that we may be required by law to report suspicious transactions to relevant authorities without notifying you, that we may freeze or suspend your account pending investigation, that re-verification of your identity may be required periodically, and that failure to complete or maintain verification may result in account suspension.
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and local equivalents. By accepting these Terms, you explicitly consent to the collection, processing, storage, and transfer of your personal data, including processing for fraud detection, sharing with regulated financial partners necessary for payout processing, retention of transaction records for seven (7) years as required by financial regulations, and transfer to jurisdictions outside your country of residence where necessary.
Sanzra DOES NOT GUARANTEE RECEIPT OF ANY "HAND" PAYOUT. The platform facilitates the mechanics of the savings group but bears no liability for the acts or omissions of individual group members, including failure to contribute, fraudulent representation, or default. Participation is at your sole risk and discretion.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the Trinidad and Tobago Arbitration Act. YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.
